Incredibly, Fiat 1.3 billion euros invested in new plant in Brazil


Fiat, in the past 9 years the number 1 on the Brazilian car market, is building a new plant in the port and industrial complex of Suape in the northeastern corner of the South American country (State of Pernambuco). The investments include a volume of 3 billion Brazilian reals (1.3 billion euros) and are part of from 2011 to 2014, total planned investment of BRL 10 billion (4.4 billion euros), of which 7 billion BRL in Minas Gerais.

The new facility provides for Fiat a strategic investment in the economic and social future of Brazil's northeastern Pernambuco and Fiat built here represents both a production facility, as well as a training center for employees.
